Job Summary Has technical responsibility for organizing and executing technical assignments relating to the work of Magna Mirrors (Taicang), innovating new technologies, support of continuous improvement projects and cost reductions related to chemical raw material and parts. Performs routine technical tasks requiring application of chemical research techniques and procedures. Rigorously follows, and at times defines, the criteria required in carrying out a series of scientific and technical tasks. Exercises judgment as required on details of work and then makes selections and adaptations of technical alternatives of raw material and parts. Must be conversant and capable in the broader aspects of the chemistry as well as having well-developed computer skills in order to implement new ideas and concepts or resolve existing manufacturing issues.
