Position Responsibilities:
Tasks in the context of implementing ZF process standards
• Project participation/management in the context of the design, implementation, and documentation of
o ZF process standards (information and physical flow)
o Process characteristics of divisional and local business models
o New locations
o Optimization project with the locations, suppliers, customers
by order of regional SCM-head division T
• Identifying harmonization potential and best practice approaches
• Driving and monitoring the implementation of processes in terms of governance and performance requirements
• Creating process documentation
• Creating training materials
• Training end users
• Implementing process reviews and benchmarks (int./ext.) together with the Divisional Process Expert
• Working divisional tasks of logistical supplier management (SWAT, GMMOG, Task-force, supplier development
• Divisional freight management (data collection for negotiations, freight concepts)
Tasks involved in the further development of processes ("demand workflow")
• Raising location or country specific aspects and requirements to business processes
• Clarifying, designing, and further developing process contents and process interfaces
• Evaluating process modifications (level of improvement) and, if necessary, expand them
• Recording, coordinating, documenting, evaluating, and accepting the demand based on the stipulated rules.
• Testing the IT systems regarding functionality and usability
• Performs regression testing if required by other projects
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Degree in business administration, economics, engineering or comparable field
• 3 years of experience in his functional area or a related one (includes co-op and/or internship experience)
• 2 years of project management in a production environment
• In-depth understanding of business processes in his functional area
• Proficient with ERP software SAP
• Proficient with material flow topics (technics, processes, methods)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• General understanding of IT systems, interfaces and data models
• Ability to interface with key customers, cross-functional teams, and all levels of personnel/management
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and guide end with decisiveness and diplomacy
• English language competency
• Ability/willingness to travel both domestically and internationally (up to 25%)
Preferred Skills and experience:
• Knowledge of problem solving methodologies like 5S, Six Sigma or comparable
• Knowledge of further computer software related to specific processes in his functional area
• German Language Skills
